Interpretive planning

Interpretive planning

Visitors come to interpretive sites during their leisure time and vacations. There are two main goals in the allocation of their free time: entertainment, and both active and passive recreation. These needs merge to create a desire for experiences.

This results in a rather unusual relationship between the providers and participants of interpretation. While the providers aim at initiating learning processes, the visitors at the most show a passive interest in learning in the classical sense. They are looking for rich, entertaining experiences.

KON-TIKI would be glad to assist you with these challenges. Our Europe-wide experience with informal learning and interpretation plus our international contacts allow us to keep up to date.

We would be pleased to contribute to your project’s success!

Our services range from short consultations or analysis requiring several days to interpretive master plans for your institution. Please contact us for a customized, “non-binding” offer.
